I cut my telephone book pages into 8 inch squares and actually finished 8 blocks. I sewed 4 together and I think I am going to do a Quilt As You Go with the blocks so each month I have one section done. This challenge just started so be sure and check it out and join!
I have been doing some sewing and also looking at all the different projects I started in 2011 and never finished. I think it is time for some accountability. My stash doesn't seem to be getting any smaller, the "new""fabrics I bought last year have been "gently" aged and should be used.

Your red string blocks are pretty -- and I like your helper, Simon, too -- such a sweet face! :)
Very nice Connie. Like your idea about using the phone book pages too. Red is one of my favorite colors!
Those look really nice and I like the idea of quilt as you go.
I had dreams of red fabrics and quilts last night. It is such a cheery color for dreary days in the winter. I like your blocks.
You have awesome thinking. I share to my friends. By Regards Wholesale Printer
The string blocks look great. I've never put a quilt together with the Quilt As You Go method. I'll be interested in seeing how it works out.
